Teatime

Looking for French pastries or cakes? Here is my growing collection of teatime treats, commonly served around 4 o’clock (goûter or quatre-heures). Typically it’s something light and sweet (recipes are reduced in sugar) such as biscuits or cookies, a slice of cake or a French pastry to serve with tea. Ice cream or sorbets are also perfect as an afternoon teatime treat in summer.
For many more pastries and macarons, you’ll find them in my 2nd book, ‘Teatime in Paris: A Walk Through Easy Pâtisserie Recipes’.
